Attention, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students!!!

Do you ever wonder what you’re going to do after you graduate from high school? Are you struggling to decide what you want to be when you “grow up?” Do you want to learn more about what your greatest strengths are and what educational/career paths those strengths could open up for you? Are you simply interested in learning more about yourself, as you ponder what the future might hold for you?

If you answered YES to any of the questions above, then the ASVAB may be for you! The ASVAB is a validated aptitude test and interest assessment, and its results are used to guide career exploration! It is NOT just for students interested in the military. It is really so much more!

We are offering the ASVAB to any 10th, 11th, or 12th grade student who is interested in taking it. We will be giving the ASVAB at Spanish River High School on Wednesday, October 27, 2021. The test will begin promptly at 7:30 AM, will take place in the Media Center, and takes about three hours to complete.

Please consider joining us for this great opportunity. To do so, you must sign up by 11:59 PM on Thursday, October 14. Late sign-ups will not be accepted, as we need to provide the number of test takers to the ASVAB program so they can supply us with the necessary materials.

You can sign up using this form: https://forms.gle/EcMHrjuDihLKBgt57

And for more information on the ASVAB, check out the website at: https://www.asvabprogram.com/.

If you have any other questions, feel free to contact Mrs. Eames, Testing Coordinator, or Dr. Keller, College & Career Counselor."

Please review the information presented in these letters if your child will be involved in FSA or EOC testing this fall.
