Biology EOC

Attention students! We will be giving the Biology, US History, and Geometry EOCs in early April. (Specific dates will be set once we know how many students have signed up.) These EOCs are for students who have completed the course (NOT for students currently in the course) but have not yet had an opportunity to take the EOC for that course.

These EOCs are NOT required for graduation, but you may need to take one of them to resolve an incomplete grade in a course, or you may want to take them to earn the scholar designation on your diploma. Note: A passing AP exam score for Biology or US History also counts toward the scholar designation; so if you have that (or will in the future), you do not also need to take the EOC. More information on the scholar designation can be found in the top left-hand corner of the second page of this document:

To sign up for any of these three EOCs, please fill out the appropriate form below. Sign-ups for these exams is ONLY occurring via these Google Forms, and all sign-ups are due by the end of the day on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Due to the planning that goes into administering these exams, late sign-ups will NOT be accepted.

Attention students who want to take the Biology EOC!

The Biology EOC (end-of-course exam) will be given to on-campus learners on Thursday, December 10, 2020 and to remote learners on Friday, December 11, 2020. Please note that remote learners will need to come to campus to take the test.

This test is for students who have completed the Biology course but have not had a chance to take the Biology EOC or have taken it and not passed it. This EOC is NOT a graduation requirement, but it is required if you would like to earn the scholar designation on your diploma. HOWEVER, passing the AP Biology exam also counts toward the scholar designation, so if you have already taken and passed that exam or plan to later this year, you do not also need to take the EOC. You are, of course, welcome to do both, but it is not mandatory. (If you have more questions regarding whether you are on track to earn scholar designation on your diploma, please speak to your guidance counselor.)

Please sign up using the Google Form below by Friday, November 13, 2020. The Google Form is the ONLY way sign-ups will be accepted, and you MUST submit the form by Friday, November 13.

Once the sign-up period has ended, you will be emailed a Google Classroom code where you will find review materials for the EOC. More information and details regarding test day will be emailed to you as your test date approaches; but again, if you are a remote learner, please note that you will have to come to school on Friday, December 11, 2020 to take the test.
